Our aim is to offer our customers a seamless, high-quality shopping experience across all our shopping channels. And this innovative approach and commitment has led to some amazing successes. We now have over 7 million registered users on our site, weekly visitors number around 6.1 million and we’ve pushed out our ‘shop your way’ offering to even more stores – 520 to date. So if you like putting your understanding of customers at the forefront of all your thinking; if you’re fascinated by the latest digital technologies; and if you’re looking for your work to inspire millions of people every day, then this really is the perfect business placement for you.
Through four three-month rotations in teams such as marketing, site merchandising, trading, operations, publishing, international and development, you’ll focus on continuously improving our digital offering. Across these rotations, you’ll work on an incredible variety of projects, which will make the most of your commercial instinct, analytical skills and logical mind. And in return for your hard work, we’ll make sure you get all the opportunities you need to progress your skills – whether that comes from working alongside some of the industry’s most respected experts or through the wealth of formal training you can take advantage of.
If that isn’t enough, impress us on your placement and you’ll also have the chance to join our sought-after graduate scheme after you finish your degree. Which will see you enjoy even more responsibility and rewards in a fast-paced environment.

Learning and Development
We've plenty of learning opportunities both in store and at our Head Office, which vary according to your scheme. Whether you’re managing people in store, or a valued member of a Head Office team, you’ll be learning while you earn, shouldering real responsibilities and helping to tackle the ever-changing issues of the day. You will be given a specific area of responsibility or a project to manage yourself fairly early on - say yes, it's a great chance to shine.
While we‘ll provide the training tools and opportunities, it’s up to you to take advantage of them. You’ll be expected to use your initiative to identify learning needs specific to you – and have the motivation to meet these needs.
Theory's all well and good, but few plans survive contact with the customer. If you’re based in Head Office, you'll get hands-on, in-store experience through our store attachment programme. Depending on your graduate programme the attachment could be anything from one week to three months.
